I was in my late thirties, friendless, had just lost the most important male figure in my life, my family was going through the trauma of my daughter fighting a brain tumour, and I just felt stuck. Stuck as a father. Stuck in my marriage. Stuck as a man. Stuck in life. I felt as though I had settled and there was nothing left for me.

Something had to change.

By fate, luck, or just coincidently, I stumbled upon an article about Nice Guy Syndrome and the book, No More Mister Nice Guy. I immediately downloaded the Audible version and listened to it.

“Wait…what the f*ck? This book is about ME,” I thought.

I was a people pleaser, a doormat and let people walk all over me. I had toxic shame and never felt I was good enough just being me. I procrastinated, talked a lot about what I wanted, but never finished the things I started.

Enough was enough. Something had to change. This was my hero’s journey and it was time for me to answer the call.

Not long after, I found the Man UNcivilized movement and book. Founded and written by Traver Boehm. Reading the book cleared my blurry vision of the future and helped me forge my mission to helping men that were going down the same path that I was.

Since working with and training under Dr. Glover and Traver, becoming a certified coach in both of their programs, I have helped dozens of men forge their new lives as integrated, UNcivilized men and look forward to working with you!
